OmeglaCommunity Guidelines That Keep Chats Worth Having
Random video chat only works when strangers treat each other well. These community guidelines are the rules every Omegla user agrees to — short enough to read in two minutes, enforced for real.
The Short Version
Be decent, be yourself, and remember there is a person on the other side of the camera. If you would not do it face to face with a stranger in a public place, do not do it here. Anyone can leave a chat with one tap — so the easiest way to keep conversations going is to be someone worth talking to.

Behavior Rules
These are not suggestions. Breaking them is how accounts get suspended.
- Treat people like people. No harassment, insults, hate speech, or attacking anyone for who they are, where they are from, or what they believe.
- Stay dressed and keep it decent. Nudity, sexual behavior, and sexual requests on camera are not allowed. Omegla is a mainstream chat, and matches can include people you would meet in daylight.
- Adults only. You must be an adult to use Omegla. If you suspect someone is underage, report the chat immediately — we treat these reports first.
- No spam, scams, or selling. Do not advertise products, push links, ask for money, or run any kind of scheme on your matches.
- Protect privacy — yours and theirs. Never pressure anyone for personal details, and never share someone else's information, images, or identity without their consent.
- Do not record your chats. Recording, screenshotting, or rebroadcasting a match without the other person's consent is a violation.
- Stay legal. Anything illegal where you live is illegal here — no threats, no weapons displays, no drugs on camera, nothing involving minors, ever.
- Disagree? Tap Next. You never owe anyone a debate. Leaving a chat is always allowed and always free.

How We Enforce
Every report is reviewed by a human on the moderation team — not an algorithm guessing at context. Reviewers look at the report, the surrounding signals, and whether the account has been flagged before.
Consequences scale with the behavior. A first minor slip usually earns a warning. Repeated or more serious violations lead to a temporary suspension. Severe abuse — anything involving minors, threats, or exploitation — means a permanent ban on the first offense, no warning round.

How to Report
The fastest way to report a user is the report button inside the chat itself — it attaches the context moderators need and goes straight to the team. Blocking is separate and instant: the person cannot match with you again.
