Terms of Service: The Rules of the Room

Nobody opens a random video chat site hoping to read legal text, so we kept this as plain as we could. These terms explain what Omegla is, what we expect from you on camera, and what you can expect from us.

By using Omegla you agree to these terms. If any of it doesn't work for you, the honest answer is simple: please don't use the site. If you keep using Omegla after we update these terms, that counts as accepting the new version.

What Omegla Actually Is

Omegla is a browser-based random video chat service. You open the site, allow your camera, and we pair you with another real person for a one-on-one video conversation. No download, no complicated sign up to try.

The service is free to start: every day you get 10 free matches. If you want longer or premium sessions beyond that, those can use coins, our virtual currency. Features can change over time — we may add, adjust, or retire things for product, legal, or safety reasons, and we don't promise any feature stays forever.

Who Can Use Omegla

You must be at least 18 years old, or old enough to use this kind of service where you live — whichever bar is higher. If you're not, Omegla isn't for you, full stop.

If you create an account or buy coins, the details you give us need to be real and current. Keep your login to yourself, and tell us quickly at support[at]omegla.cc if you think someone else got into your account. What happens through your account is your responsibility.

Free Matches, Coins and Paid Sessions

The daily free matches are exactly that — free. Coins are optional and only come in when you choose longer or premium sessions. Prices and what's included are always shown before you pay, and payments are handled by third-party processors, so we never store your full card details.

• Coins are digital goods with no cash value outside Omegla.
• Completed coin purchases are generally non-refundable once delivered, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
• Chargebacks, payment fraud, or abuse can lead to canceled orders and account suspension.

Playing It Right on Camera

Random matching only works if people behave. When you're on Omegla, treat the stranger on your screen like a person — because they are one. The full rulebook lives in our community guidelines, but the short version:

• No harassment, hate, threats, or sexual behavior directed at your match.
• Nothing illegal, nothing involving minors, ever.
• Don't impersonate others, run scams, or push people toward off-platform payments.
• No bots, scripts, scraping, or messing with how the service works.

Moderation, Suspension and Termination

We combine automated systems with human review to keep matches clean. If someone breaks the rules, we may pull them from matching, limit features, suspend access, or close the account — sometimes immediately for severe violations. You can stop using Omegla whenever you like. If an account is closed — by you or by us — some data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, while certain records may be kept where the law, fraud prevention, or dispute handling requires it.

Intellectual Property

The Omegla name, design, and software belong to us or our licensors. Please don't copy, scrape, or reverse engineer the service. Anything you create and show on Omegla stays yours — you just give us the permission we need to transmit and display it so the chat can happen at all.

Third-Party Services

Parts of Omegla rely on outside providers — hosting, payment processing, analytics, and the like. Those services run under their own terms and privacy policies, and we're not responsible for what they do. If a link takes you off Omegla, check that site's rules before you share anything.

Disclaimers and Limits of Liability

We work hard to keep Omegla fast, stable, and safe, but the service is offered "as available." We can't promise uninterrupted access, perfect matches, or any particular outcome from a conversation. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for what other users say or do, or for losses caused by third-party services or events outside our control. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't legally be limited.

Changes to These Terms

When the product or the legal landscape shifts, we'll update this page and refresh the date at the top. For big changes we'll do our best to give you a heads-up on the site. Keep using Omegla after an update and you've accepted the new terms.
